For providers
Claim your listing
Claiming tells us you are the business, so corrections from you carry weight. It is free, and it does not change your listing on its own.
What claiming does
- Records that you are the business, so your corrections are weighted accordingly
- Creates a submission that a person reviews by hand
- Gives us a direct contact for future questions about your listing
- Lets you tell us what you would like changed, in the same message
What claiming does not do
- It does not publish ownership on your listing
- It does not change any recorded fact until a person has checked it
- It does not unlock an editor or a dashboard. There is not one
- It does not move you up any page, because we do not rank providers
- It does not cost anything, now or later
Step one
Find your listing
Opening the form from your own listing page prefills the business name and the URL, which is the single biggest thing that speeds up a review.
Cannot find yourself? You are probably not listed yet, which is a different form. Add your business instead.
Step two
Send the claim
Business name, your role, your business email and what you would like updated. That is all we need to start.
We ask for your name, your business email and your role. We do not ask for identity documents, bank details or anything else a public form has no business collecting. Your details are used to process the claim and are not published or sold.
Questions
Common questions
Is claiming free?
Yes. Claiming a listing costs nothing and there is no tier you have to be on to do it.
What documents do you need?
None. We do not collect identity documents through a public form, because a public form is the wrong place to send them. We verify proportionately: usually a business email on your own domain, or a detail on your website that matches what you have told us. If we need more for an unusual case, we will ask you directly.
How long does it take?
A few working days. We are a small team and every submission is reviewed by a person, so it is slower than a self-service dashboard and considerably harder to abuse.
Can I edit my listing myself afterwards?
Not today. There is no provider dashboard. Send us what needs changing and we will change it, with a source where the change is a factual claim.
Someone else has claimed my listing. What now?
Tell us. A claim is a submission, not a transfer of control, so nothing has been handed over. We will check both and come back to you.
Before you get in touch
Our research methodology explains what we check, what we do not, how we treat pricing and service areas, and why we do not publish ratings. It is the fastest way to understand how your listing works and what we can and cannot change.
How we research providersFinal Tail is an independent directory of pet cremation and aftercare providers across Australia. We collect provider details from public listings, provider websites and information shared with us. Services, availability and pricing may change, so please confirm directly with the provider before making arrangements.
